I'm a Barbie girl: what happened when I let my husband style my look!

After spending pretty much all of last week in pj's, and with my energy level and personal style ambition still barely above "flatlined," I couldn't imagine a more perfect time to do something I've never done before...I turned my OOTD over to my hubby!!

I'd honestly expected some hesitation when I first made the suggestion to Robin; but he dove right into my closet like it was second nature...and had this whole ensemble pulled (right down to the accessories!) in less than five minutes!!

Would I have chosen exactly this ensemble for myself??  Probably not...but I have to admit that he did a more than acceptable job.  In fact, I think the way he layered a slouchy cardigan over my vest so that just a hint of the fringe peeked out was kind of genius; otherwise, with the flare jeans and plaid shirt, the "seventies" nod would probably have felt a bit too literal.

Instead, I felt very much like myself - with that little rockerish edge that I always love to include in my look. Way to go, baby...we may have to do this again sometime!!  👍

  4. Nice job. If I let my husband style my outfits, he's pick out my shortest skirt and highest heels and most low-cut top!

  6. I think you look great - he did a fab job! My hubby would have done the exact opposite - tight dress, high heels (rolls eyes)!!
