Hoodie redux

I was feeling the need to do a “casual” day today… which, in my books, doesn’t necessarily mean leaving the heels at home!!

These tall Guess boots are actually deceptively comfortable; I’ll often reach for them when I know that I’ll be spending a lot of time on my feet, or just when I want to be sure – should the necessity arise – that I could!!

“Casual” also doesn’t automatically mean that I’m going to be wearing jeans…in fact, the ease of this T-shirt dress makes it ideal for those times when I don’t want to think too much about my look.

But it’s really the hoodie that gave me that layer of relaxed coziness that I needed this afternoon; both weather-wise, and mood-wise!!

P.S.  The deadline for my giveaway contest is fast approaching…you’ll be able to leave qualifying comments only until Christmas Eve at noon PST!!

I love that t-shirt dress! Pieces like that are much more comfortable that jeans are in my opinion.

I'm still looking for that perfect, comfy boots with heels. In the past I have liked Fitzwell boots.

I agree…dresses (especially one like this!) can often be more comfortable than pants!! And the heels thing for me has a lot to do with the fact that I'm not very tall, so I like the extra inches they provide!! 🙂 Maybe Santa will bring you a pair of Fitzwells for Christmas…in the meantime, I'm putting another ballot in my contest box for you!! As always, many thanks for your comment!!

Time goes by so fast dear Monika. Now your post is already two days online and I come now to comment. This hoodie is awesome – I'm on the search for such a long T-shirt dress and do the right "nor" not found. This kangaroo pocket is great (and the trumpet sleeves too) and I can imagine how convenient is the outfit. And not every pair of jeans is comfortable – just those with the short hip can be exhausting 🙂 The pattern of the skirt I really like. But the best part is your smile on the last picture – beautiful. Have a nice 4th Advent. Greetings Conny xoxo

Not to worry, dear Conny…this is a VERY busy time of year for most of us; it just makes me appreciate your "visit" and your note even more!! 🙂 I love this hoodie because it's just a little different with the sleeves and the tunic-length…and something different always makes an outfit just a little more interesting, don't you think?! Another ballot goes into my giveaway contest box for you!!
