Snake charmer

You’ve seen most of these pieces before…but today I’ve switched things up by adding my ivory moto jacket to the mix!!

When you live in the “real world,” and not on the pages of a fashion magazine’s editorial spread, you’re going to be wearing the same items over and over again; the challenge, then, is to give them a fresh feel each time. I’ll be honest – I sometimes spend hours in front of my closet, pairing up this top with that bottom; and trying a potential look with every single pair of my boots (which, as my regular readers are aware, is whole lot!!)

Of course for personal style aficionados, this “challenge” is actually more loosely interpreted as “fun,” or even “passion!!” I LOVE going out for an afternoon of shopping – you have the photo evidence right here! – but sometimes, shopping my own closet is equally entertaining.

So…do you like coming up with new ways to wear old favourites?! Or do you wish you could just buy yourself a brand new look every day?! (And speaking of new – don’t forget to leave me a comment for a chance to win yourself a new bit of arm candy; see the details in my “Twelve Posts of Christmas!!”)

I'd love to have the means and the closet size to buy a new outfit everyday…lol. Actually I like to have favorite pieces that I can mix and match.
I love your fuzzy sweater. I am a very tactile person and I just finished knitting myself a fuzzy green sweater. All that's left is the closet party to see what I like it paired best with.

That's just it…something brand new to wear is great, but then we will always have our stand-by favourites, too!! I guess the trick is to find the perfect balance!! And your new green sweater (I wish I could knit!) might look very nice with my giveaway bracelet, hmmm?? Well, you have earned another ballot for your lovely comment…thank you!!

Dear Monika, that's just the fun of fashion. I love to combine the contents of my closet again and again. Everything to put on only once, would be too boring. And to me that is the great art. Still, I like to go shopping … 🙂 By the way, I was very pleased to see on your pictures a little Canadian Christmas decoration. Dearest greetings Conny
