I was stopped three times today…everyone wanted to know “where did you get that coat?!”

I’ve had this beauty (from Arden B) for a few seasons now; my husband and I went on a shopping trip to Seattle because I was desperate for a faux leopard coat, but couldn’t find one I truly loved anywhere locally. I still think I hit the jackpot with this one!!

It looks just as fabulous over a dress, but today I decided to pair it with my black Vero Moda leggings, black Guess boots, and stud-embellished grey tank for more of an “I’m with the band” look.  Hubby and I had dinner plans at a pub to celebrate a friend’s birthday; I thought that something with a skirt could feel a little overdressed (and truthfully, our frigid temperatures lately haven’t much put me in the mood for anything but pants!!)

Leave me a comment to let me know how you’ve been dealing with the winter chill; and remember to mention a detail about my look here – you’ll be entered for a chance to win the bracelet in my “Twelve Posts of Christmas” feature!!

So hot, Monika. The coat would be right up my alley. Just like the rest of the outfit. The leggings is just right for a casual pub night and I hope you had a nice celebration? The top and the necklace I like them together very well … but for me a scarf would be necessary. I hate to be cold on the neck. 🙂 Here in Munich it has become a bit warmer – but I still need my thick winter jacket. I do not like the cold weather. But without wind and rain I can bear it easier. Since I am very excited about the great photos with the sun and the view of the mountains 🙂
Have a nice Thursday – dearest greetings Conny XO

I know what you mean about needing a scarf around your neck for extra warmth, Conny…it can make a BIG difference!! As long as it isn't windy, though, I'm usually okay; and I think the bright sunshine made it feel warmer than it actually was!! Another lovely comment from you…and another ballot goes into my contest box FOR you!!
