So this is Christmas

I sure hope you’ve been good girls (and boys!) dear readers, because this is it…Santa is on his way today!!

If you’ve been following along on my blog, then you know that until very recently, my husband and I haven’t been feeling a lot of holiday cheer…but since our little ferret Badger seems to be holding his own right now, we’re ready to do a bit of celebrating!!

This black and grey floral-print frock was a last-minute choice for my annual work Christmas party; I found it at Winners just a few hours beforehand!!  Not that I’d actually been looking for a new holiday outfit – I had another dress waiting for me at home – but the amazing price (trust me, I practically stole it!) and flattering fit made it impossible to pass up.  And that gorgeous, bohemian necklace??  An early gift from Stella & Dot…care of my personal Mr. Claus!!  😉

And now I’d like to wish each and every one of you the very merriest of Christmases; have a wonderful day tomorrow…and may all your holiday dreams come true!!

Truthfully, I didn't need yet another dress in my wardrobe…but what can I say?? Love is love, right?! Thank you for your little note; and yes…I am very happy to follow you on both Bloglovin and Twitter!! 🙂

Sending you the merriest Christmas vibes ever! Wow, you look fabulous! I love that pretty dress and you are rocking that thigh-high slit! Meow! The necklace is so chic and on point. I'm so happy that Badger is doing well and you can do some celebrating! This is my first Christmas without my mom, so I spend some sad time at the cemetery yesterday, but I did all my crying and I'm ready to celebrate today! If only my sleepyhead hubby would wake up so we could open presents!

Somehow, we feel our losses just a little bit more deeply at Christmastime, don't we, dearest Dawn?? But in the end, it's also hard to keep the holiday spirit away…after all, this truly is the season for counting – and celebrating! – our blessings!! Hope you finally managed to get that husband of yours out of bed…and I hope that Santa was ESPECIALLY good to you this year!! XOXO

It's such a simple silhouette…but the pretty pattern and those side slits add the perfect amount of pizzazz to this dress, don't they, dearest Elsie?! And no one is happier than I am that Badger is (hopefully) on the mend; he still needs a whole lot of TLC, but he's SO worth it!! XOXO

I hope you enjoyed a very merry day as well, dear Kelsey and Kenecha…two thoughtful young ladies like you certainly deserved to get a little spoiled by Santa Claus!! And since Vancouver didn't have the "white" Christmas that everyone (except me, haha!) always dreams of, I decided that some brightly-wrapped boxes would add a bit of seasonal cheer to my holiday post!! 😉
