In the pink: printed pants, plaid shirt, long cardigan, and platform booties

Your eyes do not deceive you, dear readers; I am indeed “pretty in pink” today…pink hair, that is!!

This dusty rose hue is only temporary – the colour will fade back to blonde over the next few weeks – but right now, I’m enjoying all the compliments (four in a single afternoon!) that it’s bringing my way!!  Thank goodness that something is making me smile right now…because our weather has gone from positively springlike back to what’s typical for Vancouver at this time of year – windy and chilly and really, really wet!!  Yuck!!

pink hair!

My pink hair won’t be around forever to cheer me up, though…so I treated myself to a little bit of bling, too!!  Ever since my charm bracelet was taken in a house burglary back when I was a teenager, I’ve wanted to start a new one; this Pandora bangle (with three charms, including an “M” and a “robin” bead!) hasn’t left my wrist since I stepped out of the store last Tuesday!!

But I doubt that my bracelet will stay quite this empty for long; the selection at Pandora is enormous…and Valentine’s Day is just around the corner!!  🙂

OMG pink hair – I love it Monika!!!!!!!!! You're super gorgeous anyway (that goes without saying), but WOW does that shade suit you, you have the perfect skin tone for it. Well done you for going a rainbow colour!!

I too have a charm bracelet – the old-fashioned silver charms that you get soldered onto a link bracelet. All the charms on it represents places I've been, events in my life, etc. so I have everything from the Eiffel Tower to the Golden Gate Bridge, a ballerina to music scales (learning ballet and the piano), that sort of thing. In fact for my 40th my family bought me a new bracelet, a much chunkier one – the original one I had as a child just wasn't heavy enough for my growing collection. It's one of my most treasured possessions…!!

Much love to you, thank you for linking up to #iwillwearwhatilike!!

I honestly can't imagine having the same hair look for years and years, dearest Catherine; I've gone from short to long – and back again! – MANY times, as well as curly, straight, brown, blonde, and red!! I've even had fuchsia streaks before…but the all-over pink?? Definitely a first for me!! 😀 P.S. It sounds like your charm bracelet has become the ultimate souvenir of all the most special moments in your life; it certainly deserves to be treasured!! XOXO
