High and dry: suede knee boots, v-neck sweatshirt, cut-off denim skirt, and printed beanie

I might just be the only fashionista in all of Vancouver who doesn’t own at least one pair of Wellingtons, dear readers!!

Even though I’m willing to admit that I occasionally regret this lack of waterproof footwear, I’ve never regretted my decision a couple of years ago to include some fabulous “fair weather only” boots in my collection!!

They’re just the thing when I desperately want to wear a skirt – or dress! – but our fickle spring weather makes doing bare legs a bit too chilly for comfort.

And I’m sure you’ll agree that while rubber boots are sometimes the most practical choice, they can’t quite compete with the outfit-elevating properties of a pair in soft and sophisticated suede!!  😉

I actually just bought my first pair of Hunter boots this year and they've definitely been a godsend, but, my knee boots are still getting a ton of love and yours are SO gorgeous. Loving this entire look Monika and that herb garden is too cute! xo
