Here we are…the first outfit combination created with some of the pieces that will be making up my Toronto travel wardrobe!!
This plaid shirt, striped pencil skirt (actually more of a “tube” skirt, since it pulls on without a zipper) and ankle booties ensemble looks surprisingly dressed up considering the major ease factor; the stretchy skirt is virtually wrinkle-proof – always a bonus when you’re on holiday! – and the shirt is flannel, so it’ll be cozy even if the weather back east isn’t quite up to Vancouver standards just yet!!
My parents usually plan to get together with my aunts and uncles at one of their favourite restaurants while I’m visiting, and I’m thinking that this would be the perfect option for a family date; there’s no doubt that I’ve “made an effort”…but I can also very comfortably go for seconds at the dessert bar if the mood strikes!! 😉
Of course the flannel shirt and booties will be ideal for a much more casual, stay-at-home kind of outfit, too; you’ll want to come back on Friday to see how I make that combination work!!
(I’ve joined the Top Of The World Style linkup today!! Why not head on over and see what it’s all about?!)
Cute and casual … and your body looks bangin' in that tube skirt! Looking forward to seeing Toronto pics!

You'll be seeing the outfits that I'll be wearing in Toronto, dearest Dawn…but since Robin (my photographer!) won't be coming with me, we've had to shoot them all in advance – right here in Vancouver!! Of course I couldn't POSSIBLY leave my devoted readers without new ensembles to enjoy while I'm away!! ;D
