Maximize: black maxi skirt, slouchy white tee, and shrunken cardigan

Here’s one final capsule wardrobe quandary before I leave, dear readers…is this black maxi skirt a “yay” or a “nay” for my upcoming excursion to Toronto??

I’m all about having as many outfit options as possible when I’m away from home, so even though I’ll likely be living in jeans for most of my visit with my family, a skirt like this – in a wrinkle-resistant jersey – would be an easy piece to take along just in case I’m in the mood for something other than denim!!

By pairing it with my white v-neck tee and a lightweight shrunken cardigan, I think I’ve got a look that’ll work for a casual coffee meet-up with my favourite cousin; I’ve even accessorized with a Starbucks cup today as a trial run!!  😉

Since departure day is this Sunday, I’d better stop with the sartorial uncertainty and make up my mind already…so of course I’m all ears if there’s any last-minute packing advice you’d like to share with me!!

Definitely a Yah!! Couldn't you pull it up around above your chest and make it a strapless dress? And you can tie up one end into a knot so it's asymmetrical.
    Have fun Monika!!

Yes! Take that skirt with you. I find maxis super comfortable for trips away from home because you can dress them up or you can snuggle up on the couch in them and be super comfortable. Plus this outfit looks amazing on you!

I hope you took this outfit! I think it looks great, and it is definitely an easy traveling ensemble.
