Workhorse: Zara jersey shirtdress, floral kimono, and ankle-strap sandals

I think I need to start paying this maroon floral kimono of mine for overtime, dear readers…it’s become such a wardrobe workhorse lately!!

No wonder, though; it’s the perfect piece for adding an extra pop of visual interest to so many different looks – and for adding a bit of warmth, too!!   I hate to bring up the subject of our weather yet again…but summer is certainly taking it’s sweet time getting to Vancouver this year!!

And I’m sure my mom (Hi Mom!) is excited to finally see me wearing this navy sash-tied dress…it was part of our “spoils” from the multiple Zara shopping sprees – yep, she’s a fan now, too! – we enjoyed while I was in Toronto!!  🙂

Last – but definitely not least – are these shoes!!  Remember those old ankle-strap sandals that literally fell apart on my feet a few weeks back??  Here’s the pair I found at Winners to take their place; they might be basic black, but the silver detailing gives them a little “something something”…don’t you agree?!

That's a great outfit! And a kimono is a lovely garment!
