Shag me: how not to take fashion so seriously

This fringe-fest of a cardigan is probably the…um…”craziest?” piece that I have in my closet; but it’s also one of my very favourites!!

Never mind that I shed like a husky at springtime whenever I have it on…there’s just so much personality tangled up in all that woolliness!!  You certainly don’t wear a sweater like this if you prefer to go unnoticed; and by the same token, it’s the ideal way to show off a little sense of fashion fun!!

I’m the first to admit that I sometimes get rather caught up in the process of getting dressed for the day; after all, a #wardrobemaximalist has a whole lot of options for every given occasion, am I right??  Today I wanted a straightforward jeans-and-t-shirt ensemble for an afternoon of errands (which I may have zhuzhed up a bit with my gorgeous new Vince Camuto booties and cute mohair beanie!) so my cardi provided exactly the contrast I needed for a not-so-straightforward finishing touch!!

How about you, dear readers??  Do you always take your outfit combinations super seriously…or do you enjoy tossing in a touch of “craziness” every once in a while??  I’m looking forward to your input!!  😊

Love the fringe cardigan and jeans! I also like the way the colour of the booties compliments the cardigan, which is the main attraction, obviously:)

Monika, thank you so much for your sweet words on the new site! WordPress is definitely a game changer, but, I won't be going at it alone for long, we're hiring someone to manage the site, so much easier!! And look at you, looking like such a fashionista, love, love your fringe cardigan and I couldn't agree more sometimes you need to shake it up with a fun & crazy piece. Gorgeous!!! xo

I never wear something funny! At least I think not. Perhaps others might think otherwise!
