Well, what can I say – the summery weather in Vancouver has (so far) been pretty inconsistent!!
But Robin and I have been making the best of it…and despite the moodiness of the sky in these pics, we were lucky enough to once again enjoy a weekend road trip with the Solstice in convertible mode!!
So where did Robin and I end up on this particular afternoon?? Deep Cove, tucked in at the base of Mount Seymour on Vancouver’s North Shore, is another little neighbourhood that we hadn’t visited in ages. The last time we were here, we rented a canoe and ventured out onto Indian Arm – a branch of the Burrard Inlet – for a whole different view from the water; but I think we were both quite happy to stay firmly on shore this time around!!
Besides – I had to give my newest footwear acquisition a proper debut!! These Steve Madden bootie/sandal hybrids were a clearance find from Marshalls a while ago…and man are they easy to wear!! I can’t imagine that I’ll ever favour the “comfort” of flats over a pair of fabulous heels; but it’s nice to own shoes that let me have my cake and eat it, too!! 😉
