Jumpstart: Styling a sleeveless jumpsuit with a sheer floral top, statement belt, and platform booties

I’m not sure how I’d feel about needing to wear a utility-style jumpsuit as a uniform for work…but on my days off??  Don’t mind if I do!!

This kind of workman-inspired “onesie” holds a definite appeal for me; but only because I get to dress it up with some feminine details like platform heels and my sheer floral top (yeah, the same one you saw on Monday!) layered underneath.  Which is fine and dandy for streetwear…but I can’t imagine it would be particularly practical for actually tinkering under the hood of a car!! 😉

While certain women absolutely own a head-to-toe menswear look – Diane Keaton, anyone? – I need to balance all that “yang” with at least a little bit of “yin”!!  And then there’s the rock-and-roll edginess I can rarely resist including in my outfits…which comes today courtesy of the studs on my booties and bag, and the oversized grommets on my belt.

Now that November is here, lightly layered looks like this will inevitably be replaced by something more substantial.  But that’s okay Winter – I got you covered with my cozy sweaters…and maybe couple of new coats, too!!  Stay tuned, dear readers!!  😊

Now I'm excited to see what your winter coats looks like! I'm always reluctant to wear jumpsuits because of the bathroom issue. One-piece clothes of any kind tend to put me in a panic. You've brought that pretty top back again. I love how your blog will show how you work with the same pieces. Too many bloggers out there give the illusion of an endless supply of new stuff.
