Urban cowgirl: the perfect topper for a denim-on-denim shirt and flare jeans combo

When you’re a personal style blogger who flatly refuses to do outfit pics indoors – like me! – any day that doesn’t involve pouring rain is a great day.  That being said, there are plenty of other factors that can make a photoshoot pretty challenging; and with today’s post you are witness to one of those challenges, dear readers…the wind!!

Monika this is the perfect blend of winter boho and 70s style – love all the elements here, and then there’s your stunning pink hair!! Funny you asked about losing something to the wind – I did lose a straw fedora that went into the sea (WHY does this always happen near water?!) a few years ago. I managed to fish it out but it being woven paper meant it just fell apart 🙁

Luckily they’re easy to find so I did replace it… they’re never quite the same as your first favourite one though, are they?!

Oh my gosh, it’s SO true about the water, dearest Catherine!! I lost my favourite midi ring – not to the wind in this case, but when I pulled my hand out of my pocket – and it bounce, bounce, bounced across the pier where we were walking…right into the river!! And yes, I did eventually replace it with a very pretty ring from Pandora; but it’s just not as “special” as my artisan-crafted original! 😞
