Under the wire: faux-fur top, black skinnies, and ivory ankle boots

I’m finding myself in an odd place with my blog right now, dear readers; while I am missing my regular-as-clockwork twice-a-week posting schedule, I’m also happy to be relieved of the (self-imposed) pressure to stick to a rigid blogging itinerary.  With all the extra stuff that Robin and I currently have on our plates, the expression “something’s gotta give” really couldn’t ring any truer!!

So yeah – rounding up the time (and, quite honestly, the energy!) to snap OOTD pics probably isn’t going to happen with much predictability for the next few months.  The outfits themselves are still happening, though – I’d have to be on death’s door before you’d catch me schlumping around in sweats! – and trust me when I say that I’m genuinely bummed about each missed opportunity to share an ensemble with you. 😞

But I’m not going to dwell on that because…hey!!  I’m here today!!  And while I’m usually a #wardrobemaximalist and proud of it, I took a decidedly minimalist approach to my first look of the new season, don’t you think??  Even though jeans-and-t-shirt weather might “officially” be over, I’m feeling pretty confident that this iteration – care of my plush faux-fur top, black skinnies, and ivory ankle boots – still managed to squeeze me in under the end-of-summer wire!! 😉

Yep—you hit transitional dressing right on the head.

Glad to hear that though you are posting less—good for you—you are still enjoying creative dressing!

    Hugs,
    Linda
